A little tradition, that has spread worldwide. In our family, every year, the kids would take a turn putting the "Magic Key" on the inside of our front door handle. To this day, it is still treasured in our holiday box. I have been selling my own version for years, and it will always be a key point (pun intended) on my website.
My little story below.

Once upon a time, in a quaint village nestled amidst snow-capped mountains, there lived a jolly old man named Santa Claus. Every year, Santa would embark on his magical journey around the world, delivering presents to children far and wide on Christmas Eve. However, there was one problem that always troubled Santa - not all homes had chimneys.
One chilly evening, as Santa was preparing for his annual journey, he noticed a letter addressed to him from a little girl named Emily. In her letter, Emily explained that her family's house didn't have a chimney, and she was worried that Santa wouldn't be able to visit her and her siblings.
Santa's heart sank as he read the letter. He couldn't bear the thought of disappointing Emily and the many other children in similar situations. Determined to spread joy to every child, Santa decided he needed to find a solution.
Deep in his workshop, among the twinkling lights and piles of toys, Santa began crafting something special - a magical key. This key, unlike any other, had the power to unlock any door in the world, no matter how tightly shut it may be. It was the key to spreading happiness and cheer to every home, regardless of whether they had a chimney or not.
With the key in hand, Santa set off on his journey. As he flew over cities, villages, and snowy landscapes, he used the magic key to enter homes through doors, windows, and even the tiniest cracks. No home was left untouched by Santa's love and generosity.
When Santa arrived at Emily's house, he carefully placed her presents under the Christmas tree, using the magic key to open the door silently. Emily's eyes sparkled with wonder as she woke up to find the presents waiting for her.
From that day forward, Santa's magic key became an essential part of his Christmas Eve tradition. It allowed him to visit every child, regardless of their home's architecture or chimney situation. Children around the world marvelled at the idea of Santa's special key, knowing that it brought joy to all who believed in the spirit of Christmas.
And so, with the help of his magic key, Santa continued to make dreams come true for countless children, spreading love, laughter, and the true meaning of Christmas wherever he went.
